In addition it’s well-designed and features tiny drain holes in the bottom and larger holes near the spout, so you can wash not only rice but any type of produce such as vegetables, fruits and other grains.
With rice, the device has enough small sized holes so the rice will not go through while washing it. It is suitable for washing 450~750g of rice.

I recently ordered a few items online and was surprised at how quickly they arrived at my door here on Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, Canada. The 2.5 qt Inomata Japanese Rice Washing Bowl is a great addition to my culinary tools and makes rice washing and rinsing an easy task. I also bought the Yoshikawa Mirakutei II Advanced Deep Fry Pot and have already used it to make prawn tempura, I love how the lid serves as a tool to allow any oil on the cooked food to drain back into the pot. I also got the 36cmTachibana Sushi Oke Wooden Hangiri Bowl with Lid and it is excellent for seasoning sushi rice and keeping the rice handy while I make sushi. All arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. I highly recommend doing business with Japanese Taste.
