When I saw this tool, I figured since it’s from Japan, it’s got to be good and I was not disappointed. It is wonderfully designed and makes wonderful peels of hard vegetables like carrots, and turnips Cetera for roasting and other cooking. I love it.

Pretty thick slices. Perfect for veggie prep. A bit thicker than needed for carrot peeling so best for slicing food. The blade is very stout and razor sharp.
