Izuri Dried Wakame is a seaweed with multiple nutritional benefits that has been domestically cultivated and processed in Japan.

This Japanese seaweed is the king of alkaline foods! Rich in vitamins, minerals, especially iodine, and dietary fiber, wakame is a big source of healthy nutrients.

Wakame can be prepared in a variety of ways. Due to its versatility and mild flavor, you may include Wakame into soups, salads, noodles, etc., and by using your imagination create entirely new dishes.

Take some dried seaweed and add water.

After a few minutes (2 min for hot water, 5 min for cold water) it will dramatically expand and soften.

Drain the water for best texture and add to any dish (salads, soups, noodles, etc.)

    Dried seaweed - so tasty!!

This was such a delight. You can taste the ocean in each bite, and the color is splendid. In a soup, it is also magical to watch it expand rapidly, to several times its dried size.
