Izuri Konbucha is made with dried, powdered Japanese Konbu (Kelp seaweed).
Unlike normal teas, Konbu Kelp Tea is normally sold in powdered form since it is not made from normal tea leaves but kelp seaweed. Therefore it dissolves completely in water, allowing you to enjoy the full flavor and nutritional benefits of the konbu.
Kelp tea warms you up when you drink it, and can add an umami boost to your dish if you use it as a seasoning for cooking. Pour about 60ml of hot water over one spoonful (spoon included) of the konbucha powder and stir until dissolved. Add the desired amount of konbucha powder to dishes such as soups, fried rice, or omelets to add a boost of umami.
