Rehydrate wakame by putting it in a bowl, covering with water, and allowing it to stand for 3 to 5 minutes before draining. You can add rehydrated wakame to soups, salads, or stir fries.
It’s also recommended to put dried wakame directly into your soup without rehydrating first, and allow it to rehydrate with the flavorful broth.
