Add a touch of Japanese heritage and a subtle fragrance to your space with this artistic incense plate, inspired by the playful “Archery” scene from Japan’s iconic Choju-giga (frolicking animals) scrolls.
Choju-giga is a set of four picture scrolls from the 12th–13th century, preserved at Kōzan-ji Temple in Kyoto. Designated a National Treasure, these scrolls are considered the earliest example of Japanese manga, featuring anthropomorphic animals, sequential storytelling, and playful humor.
This incense plate brings that historic artistry into your home while offering a refined way to enjoy aromatic incense.
