This product is produced by Marukyu Koyamaen the long-established green tea products manufacturer founded in Uji, Kyoto since 1704.

They are also a regular prize-winner that they have won 1st prize for Japan's annually-held National Tea Competition for 21 times in total.
Kinrin has a well-balanced mixture of freshness, mildness, and richness that can be used for any purposes including drinking, tea ceremony, and cooking. This matcha can be enjoyed as both koicha (thick tea, like a cream soup) and usucha (thin tea, like a regular coffee).
