Minamigura's Sato no Aji miso paste uses only the highest-quality domestic Japanese ingredients.

A perfect combination of local soybeans and natural Japanese sea salt, which have been fermented and aged together in 145-year-old wooden barrels for three years, to create a deeply flavorful miso paste with a mellow finish.

This suri miso contains only two, natural ingredients: soybeans and salt, and zero chemical seasonings or preservatives. It's a traditional and natural aged miso paste, a world away from grocery store miso.

Suri miso is a "smooth" version of miso paste. It has thoroughly mashed to create a smooth and consistent texture, which removes any latent chunks of soybean. It has a slightly more mellow flavor than chunky tsubu miso.
