When you have a sudden craving for foods, you may often seek something that is filling but not too many in quantity. Rest assured that one of our products, Nissin Hayashi Meshi Demi-Glace, can meet such a need.
This product is one of the Nissin’s instant cup rice dishes that recreates a taste of Hayashi rice: a Japanese dish which consists of rice and demi-glace sauce usually made with beef, onion, mushroom, tomato paste, and red wine. Just like the Nissin’s Cup Noodle and most instant noodles, you can eat with only hot water.
The sauce provides rich flavor with an excellent combination of sautéed onion’s sweetness and aroma, tomato’s faint sourness, and umami of beef. It also includes an accent of spices such as cinnamon and clove.
Peel the top to a dotted line written on it (i.e. peel it to two thirds).
Pour approximately 230ml of hot water into the cup. Fill in the water until a water level reaches a line inside the cup.
Put the top back on and wait for 5 minutes.
Peel off the top, and stir well with a spoon in a circular motion. Keep stirring until the sauce gets thickened.
