This handmade axe is crafted from Yasugi Shirogami (white paper) carbon steel, with a rugged handle carved from Japanese oak, and comes with a genuine leather storage case. Its double-bevel blade is incredibly easy to sharpen, and holds its edge very well. Its sharpness is only matched by its longevity.
The back of the blade is thick and durable, making it fantastic for splitting firewood, even though it's relatively lightweight. But thanks to its great size, and unique shape, it can also do many of the same things a camping knife would.
