Tanba Black is an extra large variety of black soybean that has been grown in the Tanba region of Kyoto since ancient times. It is known for its pitch-black color, chewy texture and especially delicious taste.
This product is a jam made with boiled black soybeans, twice-roasted black sesame seeds and honey. It has a deliciously sweet, toasty flavor and is ideal not only for spreading on toast, but for serving with Japanese mochi rice cakes, or even dissolving in milk for a tasty sweet drink.
