This camping, mountaineering and outdoor knife from Nisaku really is something to behold. With a similar design to a bowie knife (or a Rambo knife), this isn't something you'd expect to come from Japan.
This fixed-blade knife has a fully-hardened blade, and is extremely sturdy and sharp. This Japanese crossguard knife has a single-piece grip which is comfortable to hold, and very durable.
With 420J2 stainless steel used for the whopping 3mm thick blade, this is extremely tough, rust-resistant, and will last a very long time. It's not fragile by any means, you can use it as a knife, and even as a hatchet should the need arise.
Included on the back of the blade is a gut hook for skinning and dressing game, or cutting ropes and vines, and the serrated section at the base of the blade makes cutting through tough materials super easy. The included sheath can attach to your belt, and will keep your knife stored away safe and sound.
The next time you go camping, hiking, or hunting, head out into the wilderness and become a bit wild yourself with this Japanese bowie knife.
