This medium-sized wooden file handle from Tsubosan fits a wide variety of their file blades, from 200-300mm, in many blade shapes and uses.
It's made of comfortable, well-carved wood with grooves cut into it for extra grip. The durable metal collar at the hilt will ensure the handle won't be chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged if the hilt strikes the workpiece.
Place a suitable file blade into the opening of the handle, and strike the bottom of the handle on a hard surface gently until the blade is secure. Don’t strike the handle with a hammer, and don’t drive the blade in too hard, as the wood may crack.
