This makes excellent garlic toast! I was skeptical with this being a Japanese brand for an Italian side dish but we were pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Buttery with just the right amount of garlic. Sometimes we sprinkle a tiny bit of Kinder's brown butter garlic rub on the bread and it kicks it up another notch. Another great thing is it is so easy and convenient to make garlic toast with this. Just spread it, and toast it! If I had to think of any down side for this it would have to be that you don't get a whole lot of garlic spread for the money. I think you should get a larger amount. But the convenience makes up for it as you can make delicious, authentic garlic toast any time in a matter of minutes! Hope this helps!

Love these soooo much, as well as the other flavors (but this flavor is my fave). I first discovered them in Japan, super delicious on toast. I was sad at first because I knew I'd run out of the garlic spread I brought with me from Japan, and was happily surprised to find it sold here. Thank you Japan Taste! Very easy application on bread; just squeeze however much you need, no need for a spreader, and put it in the toaster oven. Tastes as expected, albeit a little mild. Although, I was a bit worried about what ingredients went in, coming out as a gel and the wording on the tube seems to suggest no refrigeration required. I love Kewpie products but might not return to this!
