Youki Toppogi Sticks are made with Japanese rice for achieving a superior taste and chewy texture. (Japanese rice is regarded as high quality because it has high elasticity and sweetness, necessary characteristics to achieve a delicious rice cake).
For confectionery; boil the rice cakes until soft and add any topping of your preference like jam, kinako, anko paste, etc.
For cooking; boil the rice cakes until the desired texture and then stir fry or cook directly into a pot with other ingredients.
