This Japanese green tea is a special kind of green tea, because the leaves have been steamed for a longer period of time than standard green tea to deliver a deeper flavor.
Supervised by a tea master named Hirotsugu Sekiya who has obtained certification as one of the highest-ranked tea masters in Japan, Hirotsugu helped to curate a tea that is exquisitely well balanced in flavor and depth.
This particular green tea has a unique flavor that is both mellow and fragrant, and rich in umami. Once you start drinking it, you won't be able to stop!

For two cups of hot tea, prepare 240ml of hot water and pour it into your tea pot (120ml of hot water per cup of tea.)
For ultimate brewing, heat the water to 70-80 degrees celcius.
Add 8g (about a heaped 1 tbsp) of tea leaves into the strainer of your teapot, and let them leaves steep for about 40 seconds.
After 40 seconds the tea is ready and can be poured into individual cups. You can brew a few more pots of tea after the first brew, but the flavor of tea might be a bit more mellow.
