Suisouen is a traditional Japanese tea company located in Nagano prefecture, which was founded on a dream of expanding Japanese tea culture and bringing high quality tea to customers around the world.
This tea ryokucha green tea powder is made from organically grown tea harvested in Kagoshima prefecture, an area famous for its green tea production. It has a distinct mellow sweetness, and a vivid green color. Because it's a powder tea, you can consume all of the catechins and other beneficial and nutritious ingredients from the tea leaves.
Put one teaspoon of powder into a teacup and cover with around 100ml of hot or cold water. Stir until dissolved, and enjoy. To make a jug of iced tea, put five heaped teaspoons of powder into the jug and cover with roughly 1L of cold water, stir well and store in the refrigerator.
Also enjoy the great taste of green tea by sprinkling on bread or yogurt, over pasta, or mixing with tempura batter before frying.
